Lapland Vocational College is the largest vocational college in Lapland. The college works to educate, serve, and develop the entire Northern Finland. The college has 8,000 students annually. Of them, 3,000 study in vocational upper secondary education and training. Lapland Vocational College operates eight fixed campuses, located in Rovaniemi, Kittilä, and Sodankylä. In addition, the college provides education in other locations in Lapland.

Lapland Vocational College offers vocational upper secondary education and training for young people who have completed basic education and upper secondary school in the areas of Kittilä, Ranua, Rovaniemi, and Sodankylä. Adult education refers to studying for vocational upper secondary qualification or to vocational further education. Adult education is also offered in other municipalities in Lapland and Northern Ostrobothnia. Lapland Vocational College offers education in seven fields of studies, including a variety of programmes leading to various professions from a reindeer breeder to a cook or from an aircraft mechanic to a practical nurse.
