In a Class by Itself

Lappia Vocational College is a desired place to study. Classlessness, double degrees, plenty of practical training both in Finland and abroad as well as modern equipment belong to the everyday life in our education. The Collage operates in eight municipalities in the Western Lapland.

Number of Students and the Fields of Study

We provide future experts with practical education of over 40 professions in total within the fields of well-being, culture, nature, services and technology.

The study time usually lasts three years (120 study weeks), depending on the previous studies and work experience.

Vocational upper secondary school, the combination of a vocational degree and the upper secondary school, is already chosen by over 300 students from different fields of education.

Adult Education

Lappia Vocational College is also a significant organiser of adult education. Annually almost 4,000 people develop their expertise in the adult education programmes.

In addition to vocational basic degrees, you can study for a further vocational qualification or a specialist vocational qualification, receive further education or supplementary education or study for a profession in apprenticeship training.
