Pohjantähti College
The Pohjantähti College is Finland's
newest folk high school. The college operated under a trial license
since 2007 until it received its permanent license in the autumn of
2009. 
The college offers folk high school education in educational lines
as well as organising short courses. Pohjantähti-opisto is
socially, religiously, and politically independent.
The college is located in Keminmaa, on a beautiful site on the shores of the river Kemijoki.
