Äijäkoski is a part of the 230-kilometer Muonio River, which makes up a part of the border between Finland and Sweden. Permits & Safety
The Äijäkoski area is managed by the municipality of Muonio. Filming permits (if needed) are granted by their technical department.
Everyone’s Right means you might not need a permit when filming at Äijäkoski, especially if your production is on the smaller side and causes minimal disturbance to nature. If you’re not sure, you can always ask to clarify your rights and responsibilities.
